Summary

The Host will be responsible for the accurate data entry of Players Club members, assisting guests with the application process by explaining benefits, and supporting the promotions department with current promotions. This includes setting up new accounts, issuing comps, and prize redemption.

Essential Job Functions
  • Greet and inform guests about the Player's Club benefits.
  • Handle opening/closing booth tasks.
  • Perform data entry and process duplicate accounts.
  • Print player cards and maintain inventory.
  • Answer multi-line telephone system, transfer calls, and take messages.
  • Explain card operation in slot machines and at Table Games.
  • Describe award levels and record redemptions.
  • Assist with promotional theme nights and review promotional data.
  • Explain passbook coupons and review memos.
  • Maintain printers and make announcements.
  • Page shuttle for guests, sell concert tickets, and perform gift shop duties.
  • Manage coat check, clean workspace, and stock the Players Club.
  • Handle meal and gift card maintenance, phone orders, and RV registration.
  • Assist with Euchre tournaments and support other operational areas as needed.
Other Necessary Skills And Abilities

Excellent customer service and communication skills, team-oriented attitude, highly organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to changes. Basic PC skills, familiarity with Microsoft products, and working knowledge of 10-key calculator are preferred.

Education / Experience

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Basic mathematical skills and previous customer service or computer experience are preferred.

Equipment to Be Used

Laptop, voucher printer, thermal imaging card printer, multi-line phone, copier, fax, 10-key calculator, cameras.

Physical and Mental Demands

Lift up to 45 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, handle stressful situations, and work in a crowded, loud, smoking environment.

Working Conditions

Must work in a potentially smoky, crowded environment, handling some diesel smoke, with safety policies in place.

Additional Comments

Native American and Tribal Preference applies. Must pass background, drug, and alcohol tests. Flexible hours and confidentiality adherence required.
