Responsibilities

Essential duties include (but are not limited to):

  1. Maintain safe, profitable, positive, and enjoyable work environment practices, embodying the 'Atlantic Attitude'.
  2. Supervise ramp, hangar, and fuel storage activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and timely service, communicating with the Operations or General Manager about progress and issues.
  3. Ensure proper staffing, delegate work, and monitor aircraft arrivals and departures to meet customer expectations.
  4. Coordinate daily communication with Customer Service Representatives for service accuracy and completeness.
  5. Interface with customers to meet servicing needs and resolve service issues.
  6. Understand financial statements and participate in budgeting and forecasting to maximize departmental profit.
  7. Develop strategic goals to optimize operational profit while maintaining safety, environmental standards, customer service, and employee development.
  8. Enforce policies, administer disciplinary actions, and conduct facility inspections.
  9. Operate equipment such as fuel trucks, tugs, and baggage handling devices as needed.
  10. Handle incident reports, investigations, and preventative solutions.
  11. Oversee aircraft cleaning sign-offs, fuel inventory, paperwork accuracy, and audits.
  12. Participate in hiring, training, and employee management tasks, including overtime and vacation approvals.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include roles as a Line Service Technician or Customer Service Representative.
Skills & Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of line service experience or equivalent in aviation.
  • Valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements.
  • Completion of Atlantic Aviation's safety and operations training.
  • At least 18 years old with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Participation in Atlantic Leadership Training preferred.
  • Good communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent customer relations skills.
  • Flexible availability for overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
