Responsibilities

• Database Management: Implement, maintain, enhance, and program foreign language databases, spreadsheets, and presentations; ensure data integrity and security.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to PMs, Data Analysts, and users on complex projects and resolve critical issues.
• Program Improvement: Conduct studies to improve database operations and support the USSOCOM LREC Program.
• Standards Development: Contribute to development and revision of data management standards.
• Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate upgrades, installation, maintenance, and security of database systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor usage and address degradation or changes.
• System Troubleshooting: Test systems, identify problems, and ensure continuous operation.
• Application Support: Develop interfaces between applications and DBMS.
• Database Design: Create and modify physical database structures.
• Data Recovery: Recover and restore databases; plan disaster recovery and contingencies.
• Security Management: Coordinate security strategies for DBMS.
• Customer Support: Support subordinate organizations on FLP payments, testing, and LREC programs.
• Reporting & Briefings: Assist in preparing reports, charts, graphs, and briefings.
