Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: On-going contract

Compensation: $9,000-10,000/month including holiday/vacation

Work Requirements: US Citizenship required; must pass Public Trust Clearance background check

Description:

Tools team member supporting multiple tools within the account as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Responsibilities include managing, troubleshooting, planning, and implementing releases, patches, and upgrades. The SME updates documentation, manages change and incident tickets, and follows ITSM processes for installations and validations. Tools include:

• OpenText Loadrunner Enterprise
• Splunk UF (agents only)
• IBM License Metric Tool
• Automation of agent installations

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail
• System administration experience on Windows, Solaris, and RHEL OS
• Scripting skills (.bat and .sh)
• Knowledge of Perl is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Self-starter with limited supervision
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with automation tools and job management
• Knowledge of OpenText, Splunk, IBM tools is a plus
• AWS Certification and related knowledge is a plus
• College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
