Senior Automation Engineer

$9000-10,000 monthly including holiday/vacation

Work Requirements:

US Citizenship required; Public Trust Clearance necessary

• Location: Remote
• Time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain
• Must pass enhanced background screening (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance

Description:

Support the tools team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Responsibilities include managing, troubleshooting, planning, and implementing releases, patches, and upgrades. Update documentation, manage change and incident tickets, and follow ITSM processes. Tools include:

• OpenText Loadrunner Enterprise
• Splunk UF (agents only)
• IBM License Metric Tool
• Automation of agent installations via scripts

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Skills required include:

• Attention to detail
• System administration experience with Windows, Solaris, RHEL
• Scripting (.bat, .sh)
• Perl knowledge is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Self-starter with limited supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with automation tools and job management
• Knowledge of OpenText, Splunk, IBM tools, AWS (plus)
• College degree or 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• US Citizenship
