Job summary

Testronic is a global QA and tech services company for games and entertainment. We are seeking a Localization QA tester to ensure German content is accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate across titles. You will also report issues using Excel and Jira and suggest quality improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and timely delivery in a dynamic, international team environment.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency (C2 or native).
• English language proficiency (C1) for internal reporting.
• Perfect grammar, spelling and punctuation in your language.
• MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Join our Localization Quality Assurance department and be responsible for:

• Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
• Checking the game's tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
• Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
• Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.

Requirements

• German C2 level or native.
• English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
• Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.

You can score extra points for:

• Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
• Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
• Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
