Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Wound Healing Center in Northfield, MN. This temporary, full-time day-shift role (64–80 hrs/2 wks) involves delivering patient care under RN/provider direction, performing wound care tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The position requires an active Minnesota LPN license, BLS participation, CPI within six months, and ongoing professional development; benefits and scheduling support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license with Minnesota Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Current BLS enrolled in NH+C RQI program with quarterly requirements.
• CPI certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing tasks under RN/provider guidance and documents patient care.
• Contributes to care planning and implements care plan elements.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses.
• Provides safe and effective nursing care and maintains a therapeutic environment.
• Assists with wound care and HBO-related duties as trained.
