Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide and document individualized patient care, including evaluation, education, medication administration, IV therapy, and safety under the supervision of the RN or provider.

This full-time day position in Orlando, FL requires Florida LPN license and current BLS. Successful candidates will participate in unit activities, maintain compliance, and support the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or degree completed.
• Current Florida LPN license (renewed every 2 years).
• BLS/HealthCare Provider certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document individualized patient care per unit guidelines.
• Communicate patient status to RN and healthcare team.
• Assist RN or provider during examinations and procedures.
• Document data and patient education per hospital policies.
• Perform triage and determine next steps in care with the nursing team.
• Administer oral and injectable medications or immunizations as directed.
• Maintain a safe, caring environment for patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in nursing PI activities as assigned.
