Job summary

Viva Senior Living in Georgia is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join our Clinical Services team. This position is part-time with the possibility of full-time and reports to the Wellness Director.

The candidate will provide care, medication administration, and ongoing assessment for residents in a compassionate, resident-centered environment. The ideal candidate holds a valid LPN license in New York, a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrates strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LPN license issued by the State of New York.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, treatment, and medication administration to assigned residents, and monitor and report as per plans of care and regulations.
• Assist with oversight of ancillary care staff in the absence of the Wellness Director or Assistant Wellness Director.
• Provide care to assigned residents based on plans of care.
• Administer medications with adherence to the Five Rights of Medication Administration.
• Reorder and receipt of medications.
• Provide personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance.
• Supervise Care staff and maintain shift-to-shift reports.
• Provide emergency assistance to residents with appropriate follow-up.
• Obtain and transcribe physician orders and maintain case management documentation.
