Job summary

Kindred Hospital St. Louis South is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes administering treatments, providing pain management education, and maintaining communications with healthcare teams.

Candidates should have a valid LPN license and BLS certification, with prior experience in an acute care setting preferred. This position requires someone who can work well under pressure while maintaining respectful patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS may be needed in certain areas.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and perform patient care as directed by Registered Nurse.
• Consult with Registered Nurse regarding patient conditions.
• Provide pain management education to patients and families.
