Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is a 166-bed facility in Pittsburgh seeking a licensed RN to provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs. You will work under the DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.

Shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a with a 2-week rotating schedule on 4- or 5-day blocks. We offer PTO, comprehensive benefits, 401k matching, tuition reimbursement, scrubs, and more. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered PA nursing license in good standing.
• Ability to maintain required continuing education.
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred).
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful.
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and advocacy for patients.
• Understanding of Patient Rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs.

Please note that our shifts are a 4 day or 5 day schedule. Shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a and have a 2-week rotating schedule.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA and will remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred with skills)
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients
• Understanding of Patient Rights

Your day to day:

You’ll provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. You’ll work under supervision of our DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
