Job summary

Geisinger Convenient Care is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide primary clinical support, assist providers, and care for patients in a walk-in clinic setting. The role includes nursing duties, patient prep, specimen collection and vaccine administration within scope of practice.

Requirements include LPN licensure, 1 year nursing experience preferred, and commitment to high-quality patient care in a busy outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care as directed by the provider.
• Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and prepare patient for examinations.
• Assist with minor procedures, collect specimens, and administer vaccines as permitted.
• Maintain aseptic environment and prepare examination rooms between cases.
