Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Saint Cloud VA Medical Center (MN) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 24/7 Community Living Center unit. You will provide hands-on nursing care to Veterans, administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies under RN/MD supervision.

The role requires graduation from an approved LPN program and active licensure. Work schedules include day, evening, and night shifts with opportunities for additional shifts and shift

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the state or NLNAC accreditation.
• Active, full, current, unrestricted LPN licensure in the United States or District of Columbia.
• Ability to perform nursing duties including administration of medications as permitted by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to residents in a 24/7 VA unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans and educate patients and families.
