Job summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is located within the VA Community Living Center at the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Saint Cloud, MN. The CLC provides compassionate, person-centered care, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation and hospice services for Veterans.
Applicants may be referred while licensure requirements are completed. GS-03 to GS-06 levels apply with progression through experience and responsibilities within the nursing team, under supervision of RN or MD/DO,
Qualifications
- Proficient in English for direct patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care.
- Ability to observe, document and report patient status.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care under RN/MD supervision.
- Administer and document medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
