Job summary

UPMC is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our outpatient Urology team in Williamsport. Earn a predictable Mon-Fri schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with no weekends or major holidays, and be part of a collaborative team delivering Life Changing Medicine across the region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current PA nursing license (or NLC multistate license).
• Ability to travel to Lewisburg occasionally (3–4 times/year).
• Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule; no weekends/major holidays.
• Act 33/34 clearances and FBI clearance; ACLS/BLS/CPR per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV).
• Perform IV therapy under RN supervision.
• Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Assess patient condition and vital signs.
• Educate patients and relay physician instructions.
• Document care activities and medications in the medical record.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and regulations.
• Occasionally travel to the Lewisburg office; 3–4 trips/year.
