Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a part-time LPN for the Urology Practice at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL. You will support RNs and physicians providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include nursing care, medication administration, pain assessments, patient education, and comprehensive documentation. Strong infection control knowledge and Florida LPN licensure are required, with BLS certification and 1 year of clinical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Florida licensure as an LPN.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients as appropriate.
• Provide accurate medication administration and nursing documentation.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Recognize changes in patient status and report to Charge Nurse or Physicians.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times.
• Perform patient teaching under RN/Physician supervision.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol as per clinic policy.
