Job summary

Orlando Health Medical Group – Lake Mary Urology in Longwood, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct patient care under RN supervision. Workday is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with full-time status and 40 hours per week.

The LPN will document care, administer medications, assist with examinations, and participate in patient education and safety initiatives across our urology unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida nursing license (or multistate Compact).
• Maintains BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in advanced practical nursing skills and use of patient care/unit equipment.
• Communicates information regarding the patient’s condition to the RN and team.
• Assists RN or provider during examinations and procedures.
• Documents patient data and education per guidelines.
• Perform triage to assess and determine next steps in care.
