Job summary

Empire Care Centers’ Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to lead nursing care for residents. This role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and a commitment to high-quality care within a supportive team.

The LPN Unit Manager will monitor residents, collaborate with physicians to develop personalized care plans, and coach nursing staff to uphold best practices in patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active LPN License in the State of Georgia.
• At least 3 years of prior experience in a Rehabilitation Center or Nursing Home setting.
• Proven ability to direct, motivate, and inspire a team of nursing professionals.
• A passion for providing exceptional care to residents and supporting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Patient Monitoring: Observe and interpret patient symptoms, communicating with physicians to ensure the best care.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians and nurses to create personalized care plans for each patient.
• Procedures & Documentation: Perform routine nursing procedures, maintaining accurate patient charts.
• Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Leadership & Support: Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to nursing staff, promoting teamwork and quality care.
