Augusta Health is seeking an LPN Trainee to provide clinical support and assist in running an efficient clinic under physician supervision. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, and participation in daily operations within a fast-paced medical office.
Successful candidates are enrolled in the Augusta Health LPN Scholars Program and aim to obtain Virginia licensure within 24 months. CPR certification is required, and prior physician office experience is a plus.
The Augusta Health Scholar: LPN Trainee will provide clinical support to other clinicians and Providers as needed and will provide limited care directly to patients. Duties include performing as a member of the team and assisting in the administration and maintenance of an efficiently operated clinic. Accurately performs and documents assigned duties under the direction and supervision of the physician in accordance with the medical model of care as provided by the State Board of Nursing
Initiates implementation of processes and has access to all operational components of the office as required by daily operations.
