Job summary

Primary Care Solutions seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support Veterans in a confidential, welcoming setting. This on-site, full-time role involves taking vitals, recording in the EMR, administering medications, and assisting providers during exams and treatments.

Ideal candidates hold a state nursing license, a certificate program, and BLS certification; new grads are welcome. Office hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm, with telehealth/back-office elements and a strong emphasis on patient care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Graduate of accredited certificate program
• Current active state nursing license
• 1 year clinical operations experience preferred; new grads welcome
• BLS for providers certification from American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record in the EMR
• Obtain medical histories and verify patient information
• Administer medications and operate diagnostic equipment
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments
• Take vitals and perform ancillary tests as appropriate
• Collect lab specimens and submit results to providers
• Answer and return patient calls, messages, and alerts
