Primary Care Solutions in Granbury, TX seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time, on-site role combining telehealth and back-office duties. You will interview patients, record vitals, collect histories, administer medications, and support providers during exams and treatments. New grads welcome; BLS required.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with a confidential environment and access to electronic medical records. Join a team dedicated to veterans' health and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate program (LPN).
• Current and active state Nursing License.
• One year of clinical operations experience preferred; new grads welcomed.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in the electronic medical record.
• Obtain medical histories and verify patient information.
• Prepare, assist, and complete all forms accurately.
• Administer medications and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Take vital signs and perform ancillary tests as certified.
• Collect lab specimens and submit results to providers.
• Handle patient calls, messages, and alerts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.

• Office hours are Mon - Fri 8am to 4:30pm.
• This is a telehealth and back office position.
• This is a Full - Time position on site 5 days per week.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patient's electronic medicalrecord
• Obtain medical histories from patients; verify patient information
• Prepare, assist, and accurately complete all forms
• Administer medications and operate diagnostic equipment
• Assist providers during examinations and treatment
• Take vital signs and perform all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level, certifications, and state regulations
• Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.) and as certified
• Collect lab Specimens from patients and submit received results to medical providers
• Complete all clinical reminders
• Answer and return patient telephone calls, messages, and alerts

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited certificate program
• Current and active state Nursing License
• One year of continuous experience in clinical operations preferred/New Grads welcome!
• Knowledge of computer systems to include the MS Office Suite
• Current Basic Life Support for providers certification from The American Heart Association
