Job summary

Stadium Place Rehab in Baltimore, MD is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. As an LPN you will supervise CNAs, provide individualized nursing care per each resident’s plan, and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care according to each resident’s plan.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explain procedures to gain patient cooperation and reduce apprehension.
• Observe vital signs and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain and document nursing records for continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability and prepare residents for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care.
