Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our night-shift team. This role provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will perform technical tasks within scope of practice, maintain patient comfort, and support safe, high-quality care across hospital units. Qualifications include current LVN license, BLS, IV, ACLS and PALS per hire; six months acute or subacute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire preferred.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate upon hire preferred.
• Minimum six month of acute or subacute experience required.
