Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Primary Care team. The LPN will assist in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care within a collaborative team to support patient care and provider efficiency.

The role includes taking vitals, documenting medical history in our EMR, and sharing medical information with patients and families to promote positive outcomes. A caring, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nursing degree required.
• Current MA nursing license to practice.
• Must maintain BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must possess problem solving abilities and analytical skills to meet patient needs.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Utilizes critical thinking and good judgement in performance of tasks.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

The LPN on the BILH Primary Care team, will work to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care. Working with Healthcare Providers on their daily needs and schedules will assure patient care is delivered in a timely manner. Taking patient vital signs as well as documenting medical history in our EMR system and providing patients and families medical information in order to achieve positive patient satisfaction are just some of the critical duties you will be performing. Minimum LPN Qualifications:

• Licensure, Certification, Registration: Education: Licensed Practical Nursing degree required.
• Licensure, Certification & Registration: Current license to practice nursing from the Massachusetts board of registration.
• Must maintain BLS certification.
• Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must possess strong problem solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure patient’s needs are met.

Job Description:

Pay Range: $30.00 - $44.58 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
