LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an advanced care unit caring for acutely unstable patients. You will assist with assessments, administer medications, and document care plans after RN assessments.

Key responsibilities

assisting with patient assessments, administering oral and IV medications, performing trach care, dressing changes, and documenting care plans after RN assessments.

Work environment

a fast-paced, team-oriented unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, utilizing advanced equipment such as cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and lines.

Qualifications

valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and relevant experience.

Duties involve

performing comprehensive patient assessments, implementing and modifying care plans, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Additional info

includes seizure monitoring in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and responsibility for documentation, safety, and communication with patients and families.
