Job summary

Regency Retirement Village of Huntsville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse Staffing Coordinator to manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for nursing staff. You will recruit, orient, and place employees while ensuring compliance with Alabama laws and Regency standards.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building with staff and external vendors, and experience in hiring and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an accredited LPN program.
• Must be licensed/registered in Alabama and maintain license in good standing.
• Experience with hiring and onboarding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Schedule facility staff at levels determined by DON/Administrator.
• Prepare and maintain records of all shift schedules and communicate clearly to staff.
• Understand State requirements and forecasting.
• Perform functions of a charge nurse as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward residents.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move intermittently during shifts.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
