Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment in Huntsville, AL. The RN will assess patient needs, plan and delegate care, and evaluate responses to treatments, ensuring progress toward expected outcomes during the shift.

Required is Alabama RN licensure with BLS; ACLS within one year of hire. Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply as part of our orientation and nurse residency programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
• ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate the patient's response to care and attainment of expected outcomes.
• Accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
