Job summary

Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre in Saginaw, MI seeks an LPN to join our skilled floor nursing team. You will provide specialized nursing care across orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory and other areas, administering medications and leading a CNA team to support patient well-being.

You must hold a Michigan LPN license with CPR-BLS, and possess an associate's or bachelor's degree or higher. A strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Michigan and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and rehabilitation.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to physiological and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the CNA team including direction, assignments, training, and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.

• 12 hour shifts available

How you will help people every day:

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• A current license to practice as an LPN Nursein Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
