Quality Correctional Health Care is seeking a part-time Site Coordinator/LPN at Homewood, AL to oversee nursing operations at an inmate healthcare site under supervision of the Responsible Physician.

The role involves administrative duties, clinical duties, ensuring contractual compliance, maintaining patient confidentiality, and reporting to corporate. Requires a valid LPN license, CPR, and 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in correctional healthcare.

Qualifikationen

• Valid LPN license in current state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1–2 years nursing experience in healthcare; correctional healthcare preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensure nursing coverage aligns with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with jail staff to promote teamwork and mission.
• Adhere to QCHC policies and nursing standards of care.
• Maintain daily nursing tasks within prescribed timeframes.
• Assist Medical Director in pharmacy utilization reviews.
• Develop and evaluate Orientation, CQI, and annual reviews.
• Develop or revise nursing policies and procedures.
• Identify equipment needs and submit requests to corporate.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for corporate.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Respond and intervene to all emergency situations.
• Conduct patient intake and verify medication orders.
• Conduct Sick Call clinic; administer medications per standards.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
