Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster, MA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide direct nursing care under RN supervision and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care day-to-day.

Great benefits include weekly pay, a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, and opportunities for career advancement. Full-time and part-time positions are available on all shifts, with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• CPR certification required.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• A minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility is preferable
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
• Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
• Follow physician's orders and render and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders
• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately
• Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
• Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary
• Administer medication according to procedure
• Maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which you are responsible
• Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques
• Respect and take care of facility equipment and not wasteful of supplies
• Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions
• Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relations
• Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents' individual health information
• Continue growth and expand job knowledge
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Other duties assigned by manager
