UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Worcester, MA for a full-time role in Medical/Surgical Specialties. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform IV infusions, and document in the EHR. Schedule is 38.75 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will join a collaborative care team within Atrius Health, part of the Optum family. MA LPN license and BLS required; 1+ year preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MA).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Functions within a designated clinical team.
• Obtains and documents relevant patient information and intervenes within scope; escalates as needed.
• Provides standard patient education under an established plan of care.
• Obtains vital signs and other department-based testing.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Starts and monitors intravenous infusions and communicates IV needs to clinicians.
• Documents patient care activities and outcomes in the electronic records.
