Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Colorado seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care under the Nurse Practice Act. You will assist physicians, room patients, and support the care team while ensuring safety and accurate medication administration.

Role includes documenting patient data, following infection control practices, and contributing to a cooperative, patient-centered environment in line with KP standards. A sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Colorado.
• Minimum 400 clock hours of faculty planned clinical experience with supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• IV therapy certification preferred.
• Six months of experience with adults, pediatrics or trauma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the Nurse Practice Act and physician orders.
• Administer medications with 5 rights and 3 checks.
• Assist in rooming patients and supporting providers.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient identifiers.
• Record patient data and communicate changes to the team.
• Orient and train new staff as assigned.
