Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility.
• Ensure Nursing Service procedures and policies are followed and updated as needed.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office as required.
• Complete charting and documentation accurately for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity.
