Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in our Illinois facility. You will ensure care adheres to federal, state, and local standards and report to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing activities, admitting transfers, charting, med administration, and maintaining confidentiality. CPR certification and LTC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain rapport with inter-departmental personnel to ensure nursing services.
• Receive/give nursing report during shift changes and rounds with physicians as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and privacy.
