Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong clinical supervision and leadership of nursing staff.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Meet with staff to plan shift services, programs and activities.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on your unit/shift.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge forms and physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and privacy.
