Gurwin Jewish-Fay J. Lindner Residences in Commack, NY is seeking a full-time LPN Shift Supervisor to join our assisted living community, working Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN license with knowledge of geriatric nursing.
• Adherence to Department of Health Regulations for Assisted Living Facilities.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in an active Assisted Living Community.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to resident well-being and respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Wellness Office in the absence of the Director of Resident Services.
• Supervise personal care services rendered by Gurwin Jewish~ Fay J. Lindner Residences.
• Implements standards of care and policy and procedures for the Wellness Department.
• Coordinate and manage all Assisted Living Aides.
• Apprise family of changes in resident health and behavior.
• Responsible for control of medication and documentation of medication.
• Supervise daily shift logs to ensure compliance.
