Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing for the LPN program.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and facility policies (HIPAA, safety, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of an LPN.
• Coordinate and direct resident care with other departments and staff.
• Assist RN with assessments, documentation, and data collection.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor and report changes.
• Ensure physician orders are signed and implemented within required time frames.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
