Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Larimore, ND location to provide professional nursing care in long-term care. The role supports residents under RN or physician supervision, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will hold an LPN license, have a background in nursing care, and be prepared for IV therapy if required by North Dakota regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required per North Dakota regulations.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure program with supervised clinicals or 400 hours of LPN experience.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEU/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective teamwork across disciplines.
