Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion, a not-for-profit senior care facility, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts. The role includes delivering professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administering medications, and contributing to care plans in a long-term care setting.

The successful candidate will possess an LPN license, with an Associate degree preferred, and participate in ongoing CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license.
• If IV therapy is required, training may be required per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Ensure health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes, medications, behavior and diet.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to meet resident needs.

Education
