Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will supervise care under a RN/physician and participate in care planning, with compensation and benefits aligned with full-time status.

Responsibilities include medication administration, data documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to maintain resident well-being and safety. A valid LPN license and CEU requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and be in good standing with state board.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to perform nursing duties under supervision, including medication administration.
• Continuing education units (CEU) and competency training required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess residents and contribute to care planning.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
