Bedford County Schools is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing support to students under the direction of the registered school nurse. You will assist with planned care, acute needs, and maintain comprehensive health records in line with Virginia guidelines.

Essential duties include medication administration, first aid, CPR, immunization follow-up, and collaborating with the nurse to support student health plans. An ADA-compliant, patient-focused approach is required.

Qualifications

• LPN license from VA Department of Health Professionals.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing support to students under the direction of the school nurse.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders under supervision.
• Maintain and organize health records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the school nurse on health concerns and care plans.
• Conduct routine screenings and assist with health-related 504/IEP interventions.
