Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work one-on-one with a student and in the school setting. School Nurse positions potentially available as well. LPN pay starts at $40/hr.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LVN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (e.g., Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.
