Job summary

Golden LivingCenters in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. You will work with residents and the care team to achieve positive outcomes and participate in discharge planning as needed.

The role emphasizes resident-centered care, collaboration with physicians and staff, and ongoing professional responsibilities. Baylor incentive pay applies, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Licensed nursing staff are required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Responsibilities

• Assure that effective quality nursing care is delivered which is outcome focused through utilization of the nursing process.
• Identify needs and provide input for discharge planning and follow-up throughout length of stay.
• Assist with development of individualized plan of care in collaboration with the resident/responsible party and interdisciplinary care team.
• Implement plan of care consistently, effectively and cost efficiently with focus on resident centered outcomes by utilizing all appropriate, available resources for resident, family or responsible party counseling and discharge planning.
• Work in collaboration with physician and other health care professionals by sharing information relevant to changing plan of care.
• Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort by demonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practice.

Weekend Schedule

We rely on and trust our Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality healthcare and enrich the lives of our patients and residents. Work three 12-hour shifts every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and receive Baylor incentive pay in accordance with company policy.

Opportunities are available to pick up additional shifts and earn incentive bonuses.
