Position Details

WEEKEND WARRIOR: FRIDAY-MONDAY

RNs: $42.00/hr

LPNs: $37.00/hr

Work 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and an 8-hour shift on either Friday or Monday (total 32 hours). You will be paid for an extra 8 hours, so working 32 hours results in pay for 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care under physician guidance within the scope of nursing practice.
• Monitor residents for acute changes and chronic health conditions.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, assessments, and care planning.
• Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive nursing care.
• Oversee CNAs, document care, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Administer medications, provide first aid, and support residents' ADLs.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and proper documentation.
• Provide end-of-life care and trauma-informed nursing services.

Qualifications

• Nursing license in Illinois
• CPR certification
• Experience in long-term care preferred

Physical & Sensory Requirements

• Ability to move intermittently, read, write, and speak English
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds, cope with stress, and work independently
