Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehab is seeking a dedicated LPN/RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing operations on the unit and ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with regulations.

You will mentor RNs, LPNs and CNAs, coordinate shifts, and supervise admission, transfer, and discharge processes while maintaining thorough documentation and timely medication administration and care plan updates.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license is required.
• Minimum of one year of management experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of LPN/RN experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical systems to ensure quality resident care according to laws and facility guidelines.
• Deliver basic nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Direct and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Resolve grievances related to resident care with ADON/DON coordination.
• Document nursing notes timely in resident charts.
