Job summary

UnityPoint Health's UnityPoint Clinic in Waukee, IA is seeking an LPN or RN to join the Pulmonology team. This full-time role supports patient exams, treatments, and education, with Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, rooming patients, recording histories and vitals, administering medications, and coordinating referrals and follow-ups. Active RN or LPN licensure is required; outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in state of practice or compact license.
• Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• EPIC experience is a plus.
• Candidates may be asked to float to other UnityPoint locations to support staffing.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures.

• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments within licensure.
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care.

We are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our team. This position is open to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education.

• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure

Qualifications

• Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Active/Unencumbered RN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
  • OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.

• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
