Job summary

Greens at Weaverville in Weaverville, NC is seeking an experienced LPN/RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team and oversee daily clinical operations of a busy skilled nursing unit. You will mentor staff, coordinate admissions, and ensure the highest standards of resident care are maintained.

Working with the Director of Nursing and ADON, you will lead the nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in physician rounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN/RN program.
• Current NC LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and federal/state guidelines.
• Experience with PointClickCare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing operations to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Assist DON/ADON with day-to-day management of nursing services.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with nurse managers.
• Ensure staff comply with all policies and procedures.
• Lead nursing staff meetings and organize daily operations.
• Document incidents and medical records; complete audits.
