Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's Nashua Crossings is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time evening shifts from 2pm to 10pm. LPN: $32–$36/hr; RN: $34.50–$38.50/hr. Join a team dedicated to providing a warm, home-like environment for residents.

You will assess and document residents, coordinate with care providers, and mentor staff in a supportive community that values dedication and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to appropriate staff.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in job performance.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and emergency systems as needed.

Nashua Crossings is looking for compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)/Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

Full Time Evenings 2p-10p

LPN: $32-36/HR

RN: $34.50-38.50/HR

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
