Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
  Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Assist with patient assessments and physical examinations. Communicate with DON
  Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment provided
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
• Assist with case management for patients with chronic conditions or complex healthcare needs
  Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth, for medical documentation
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety
• Ability to suture wounds and provide wound care as needed
• Experience in case management for patients with chronic conditions or complex healthcare needs
• Familiarity with occupational health practices, including physical examinations and health screenings
