LPN/RN Evening House Supervisor M-F No on call

Job Summary

Provides oversight and administrative direction during the evening/night shift, coordinating clinical and administrative activities, and ensuring high standards of resident care within Missouri Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Responsibilities
  1. Obtain reports from relevant staff and make rounds to ensure quality control.
  2. Complete administrative records and reports.
  3. Support charge nurses with staff issues and employee discipline.
  4. Assist in orientation and monitoring of new employees.
  5. Communicate policy changes to staff.
  6. Perform competency reviews and evaluations.
  7. Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
  8. Monitor employee work compliance and coordinate medication checks.
  9. Oversee all departments and take administrative actions as needed.
  10. Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain professional discretion.
  11. Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
  12. Ensure compliance with federal and state licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Current Missouri RN license.
  • Two years of long-term care nursing experience, including one year in management/supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Exposure to body fluids, chemicals, and resident behaviors.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English; lift over 50 pounds; and handle mental and emotional stress.

  • Hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
